Bakersfield College Foundation
The Bakersfield College Division of Foundation and Institutional Development is currently responsible for the management of funds for more than 400 organizations, individuals, and endowments for the purpose of scholarships, and for other objectives noted in the Foundation by-laws. Income from investments plus additional donations allowed the Foundation to give nearly $480,000 to over 450 students in scholarships and student aid in 2006-2007.
Foundation Receives $200,000 Gift

Foundation Announces New Director
The President of Bakersfield College is pleased to announce the selection of Michael (Mike) Stepanovich, public affairs and marketing director of California State University, Bakersfield as Bakersfield College’s new Director of Foundation and Institutional Development. Stepanovich, who assumes his post on October 22, succeeds Walter Howald, who left Bakersfield College to become College of the Desert Foundation director. read more...
